    在中國，彈簧的制造歷史源遠(yuǎn)流長，在中國較早的彈簧如農(nóng)民使用的“扁擔(dān)”，其歷史遠(yuǎn)在工業(yè)誕生之前。發(fā)展至今全國已有螺旋彈簧制造企業(yè)500余家，鋼板彈簧制造企業(yè)300余家，氣彈簧制造企業(yè)100余家，其他彈性元件制造企業(yè)100余家，總計(jì)彈簧及彈性元件制造企業(yè)達(dá)1000余家，年彈簧產(chǎn)品總產(chǎn)值已過數(shù)十億元。汽車用發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)氣門彈簧、油泵彈簧，減震系統(tǒng)用懸架彈簧、鋼板彈簧在彈簧產(chǎn)品總產(chǎn)值的比重很大，其產(chǎn)品不僅提供國內(nèi)汽車廠商、配套市場，而且出口量逐年上升。隨著中國市場經(jīng)濟(jì)的快速發(fā)展，電器產(chǎn)品的國內(nèi)消費(fèi)量和出口量劇增，因而小彈簧的產(chǎn)值和產(chǎn)量增長較快。氣彈簧產(chǎn)品是80年代初隨著引進(jìn)技術(shù)，而在我國應(yīng)運(yùn)而生的新產(chǎn)品，近10年的發(fā)展速度相當(dāng)迅速，出口國和出口量都連年遞增。中國的彈簧標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化工作始于60年代初期，至今已40多年，已經(jīng)形成了較為完善的彈簧標(biāo)準(zhǔn)體系，目前已具有彈簧國家標(biāo)準(zhǔn)22項(xiàng)、行業(yè)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)20項(xiàng)。1999年由國家批準(zhǔn)成立全國彈簧標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化技術(shù)委員會(huì)，全面推進(jìn)彈簧標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化工作。
    中國是發(fā)展中國家，是彈簧產(chǎn)品的制造大國，良好的經(jīng)濟(jì)環(huán)境和政策吸引著許多外資企業(yè)到中國來發(fā)展，標(biāo)委會(huì)將全面跟蹤世界范圍彈簧標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的最新變化，及時(shí)為彈簧行業(yè)服務(wù)，以提高我國彈簧產(chǎn)品的競爭力，適應(yīng)全球采購的需要。

    Spring production has a long story in China, and the earlier spring made in China behaved just like the “shoulder-pole” used by peasants. The spring came into being before the birth of the Industry. There are up till now approximately 1,000 enterprises specialized in the production of spring and elastic elements with the gross output value of about several billion RMB, including more than 500 manufacturers for coil spring, more than 300 for plate spring, more than 100 for gas spring and about 100 for other elastic elements. The proportion of the valve spring and oil pump spring for automobile engines and the bearing spring and plate spring for shock isolation system in gross output value of spring products is very large. The products are not only provided for the domestic automobile manufacturers and supporting market but also exported to other countries with increasing volume year by year. With the rapid development of market economy in China and the explosion of domestic consumption and export volume, the production value and output of small springs enjoy a smooth increase. The gas spring is a kind of new products emerging as the times require with the introduction of advanced technology in 1980s, and have made a rapid progress in recent ten years with the annual increase of the exporting countries and export volume. Spring standardization in China began from early 60s, more than 40 years up to now, and it has developed a more sophisticated system, with 22 national standards and 20 industry standards. The National Spring Standard Technology Association (NSSTA) was established to promote the comprehensive spring standardization in 1999 after the approval from the country.

    China is one of the developing countries in the world, but also one of main countries for spring products. Good economic environment and policies attract many foreign enterprises to development their businesses in China. The National Spring Standard Technology Association will make a close tracking to the latest changes of the spring standard in the world, and provide timely services for the spring Industry to improve the competitiveness of the spring products of our country and meet the demand of the global procurement.
